Hobby Boss 83849 1/35 Scale Soviet ZIS-30 Self-Propelled Gun Kit

The ZiS-30 was one of a series of armored vehicles hastily designed by the Soviet Union within a short period of time following the German invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941. Designed by the Grabin Design Bureau in August 1941 and produced by Gorky's 92 Factory, this self-propelled artillery uses the "Komsomolets" armored tractor as the chassis and mounts a 57mm ZiS-2 anti-tank gun on it. Due to reliability issues with both the chassis and the gun, only about 100 were produced.
