Each Kato HO Scale Starter Set Contains a 7.7 x 4.5 oval of HO gauge Unitrack, including a track feeder, a road crossing and rerailing track, and a book of directions for additional layout plans.Kato UNITRACK uses a special alloy of nickel silver to prevent tarnishing and reduces the frequency of cleaning that is required. If you’re an occasional modeler who only pulls out the train set on holidays, that means you don’t need to worry about your rails rusting away in the package! Likewise, if you operate your trains on a daily basis, you’ll have to clean your track less often and have fewer instances of lost conductivity!

Power:
Kato’s included Power Pack SX is powerful but simple to use, with keyed & color-coded connectors and an easy-to-understand control system, making it suitable for modelers of all ages. The Power Pack SX can also be upgraded with optional alternative power supplies for modelers looking to expand their train operations and run bigger and larger trains in either HO or N scale, so you don’t have to worry about it becoming obsolete as you expand your layout!
