Two separate StationSounds Dining cars are offered because the cars were switched out in-route. Trains operating east of Buffalo would have a "New York Central" car. West of Buffalo, where Commodore Vanderbilt usually ran, the Diners would carry Michigan Central reporting marks. Both cars will play "20TH Century Limited" announcements.
