Order Cancellations

Before Shipping: All canceled orders are subject to a 3% non-refundable transaction fee.

  • Cancelling voluntarily before shipment.
  • Using a hotel, motel, or B&B as the shipping address (automatically canceled).
  • Providing the wrong shipping address (requires order cancellation and re-order).

After Shipping: Orders cannot be canceled after shipment.

  • Refused or returned packages will incur a 15% restocking fee plus original and return shipping costs.

Returns

Contact Bill at 240-367-6067 or info@crazymodeltrains.com to request an RMA.

  • Return window: 14 days after RMA is issued.
  • Returns without RMA will be refused and returned.
  • Include order number and issue in the package.

Do NOT open the product if you plan to return it.

Opened items may incur up to a 50% restocking fee or be refused.

Ordered by Mistake

  • Return within 30 days of order date.
  • Product must be in new, unused, unopened condition.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable and customer is responsible for return shipping.
  • 15% restocking fee applies.
  • Special/custom orders are non-refundable.

Wrong Item Received

  • Do not open the item.
  • Contact us for a prepaid return label.
  • We’ll ship the correct item (if in stock) or issue a full refund.

Damaged Items

  • Take clear photos of the box, item, and shipping label.
  • Send images via email or text to us.
  • We will evaluate the damage and advise on next steps.

Defective Items

Out of the Box Defects: Contact us immediately. We’ll issue an RMA and return label.

After Use: Contact the manufacturer for warranty repairs.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Cosmetic defects (e.g., paint smudges, glue marks). Please contact the manufacturer.
  • All electronics (DCC controllers, decoders, boosters, boards) must be returned to the manufacturer due to risk of user damage.
