Shipping & Returns

If we send the Wrong item or the item is defective


If we make a mistake by sending you the wrong item (do not open it) or you get a defective product, we will make it right at no cost to you. Crazy Model Trains will pay all return shipping cost and will provide a full refund.


If you received a damaged item or receive the wrong product, please contact us immediately. You must contact us within 30 days of receipt of the product.


If a product becomes defective after use, please contact the manufacturer of that product to resolve the issue under their warranty program.

 


If you ordered the Wrong product or decide you just don’t want it:

If you order something from us by mistake or just decided you don't want it, we will accept returns within 30 calendar days after delivery of the product.

 

IF YOU PLAN TO RETURN AN ITEM DO NOT OPEN THE ITEM! OPENED ITEMS COULD HAVE UP TO 50% RESTOCKING FEE!!! IF YOU OPEN AN ITEM, IT CAN'T BE RESOLD AS NEW!!! DO NOT TAPE ANYTHING TO THE PRODUCT!

 

The following conditions apply to returns:
• Items must be in "new, unaltered and unused condition".
• Item must be in original box unopened with no damage to the package or packaging (we need to be able to resell that product as new)
• Return request must be within 30 calendar days of the delivery date
• Special orders or custom orders will not be refunded.
• Customer pays all return shipping costs from their location. Return shipping cannot be refunded.
• There is a 20% restocking fee for returned items. That is 20% of the items' price you paid.
• Refunds are contingent upon inspection of item(s) once we receive it.

Return Shipping Note:

• If you are sending the item within the United States and the order is valued at $100 or more, please insure the shipment for the value of the item. We can’t refund you if the item is damaged or it gets lost.

• Please pack the item securely so it won't be damaged during shipment.

• Ship all items with a tracking number and send us the tracking information once you receive it.


If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

Shipping

Crazy Model Trains provides standard shipping best way. All shipping costs are determined by the weight on all items. 
 

All items under one pound will ship USPS First Class Parcel.

All items over one pound will be shipped either USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, or FEDEX Ground, whichever is cheapest.
