About This Item
AFX 22053 is an HO scale (1/64) ready-to-run slot car of the 1967 Ford GT40 MkIV #3 that ran at Le Mans, finished in copper. The copper-colored #3 GT40 rode on a J7 chassis and was one of the MkIVs that made it to Le Mans in 1967, driven by Mario Andretti who held second place for much of the race. The MkIV was the most radical variant of all the GT40s, built from scratch in the United States and victorious at both Sebring and Le Mans.
Built on the AFX Mega G+ SHORT wheelbase chassis (1.5 inch) for smooth, realistic HO racing.
