Step‑by‑Step Decoder Reset Procedure
1. Identify the Decoder Manufacturer
Place the locomotive on a programming track and read CV 8 to obtain the manufacturer ID:
Digitrax → CV 8 = 12
SoundTraxx → CV 8 = 141
NCE → CV 8 = 11
QSI → CV 8 = 113
ESU LokSound → CV 8 = 151
2. Write the Reset CV
Once identified, program the following values:
