Description
This kit recreates the Silhouette, the Bill Cushenbery-built 1962 custom show car with hand-formed bodywork and bubble canopy that inspired one of the Original Sixteen Hot Wheels of 1968. The 161-part kit features an opening hood and trunk, detailed interior, full chassis with suspension, engine options with supercharger or triple carburetors, drag chute, multiple wheel choices (Astro, wire, knock-offs) and a bonus bubble-top hauling trailer. Parts are molded in white, clear, transparent red and chrome; the finished 8-inch model comes in a vintage-style Hot Wheels collector tin.
