Atlas 10002989 HO Scale Amtrak ALCO RS-1 #47 (Analog DC)

Atlas Master Silver Series HO scale ALCO RS-1 in Amtrak Phase III, road number 47. Silver means the model is factory DCC-ready with an empty decoder socket - it runs on straight DC out of the box, with no decoder and no sound installed.

Amtrak 46 and 47 were ALCO RS-1s built in September 1945 for the Washington Terminal Company and kept their numbers when Amtrak absorbed that fleet; both were still on the roster in 1990.
