Gunderson built these high-capacity plug-door box cars for BNSF Railway in 2012, and the railroad took close to 600 of them. Rated at 286,000 lb gross rail load, they move paper and bulk commodities, and they are told apart from the near-identical 7550 by the single plug door and the door step below the left side of the opening. Atlas gives the era as 2012 to the present. Atlas publishes only one photograph for the four-car BNSF group, so the images may show a sister road number in the same paint.
