Bachmann's N scale old-time bobber caboose represents the short four-wheel cabooses that ran on mainline and short line railroads in the late 1800s and early 1900s, decorated here for the Union Pacific as car #12 in boxcar red. The truckless four-wheel arrangement and tall cupola make it an instantly recognizable nineteenth-century car.
