About This Item
An early 1970s custom show rod creation by famed car customizer George Barris, the Wild Chinatown Express Ricksha is inspired by many aspects of Asian culture. It features a 327 V-8 Chevrolet engine, an air cleaner made from a two-headed dragon, a Samurai sword acting as a steering wheel, spaghetti-style exhaust pipes, a small sacred Buddha statue at the rear of the body, and a traditional sun hat placed on top of the radiator. Fully paintable 1:20 scale kit with 92 parts, approximately 7 inches long once assembled, in Retro Deluxe MPC vintage packaging.
