These are great little circuits for controlling three light signals. They perform as expected and are easy to program. When used with JMRI to control LED signals the lights change colors realistically with a fade up and fade out. Not like typical LEDs that come on and off instantly. The boards are quite small. Due to their small size, most people will need a magnifying glass and a “third hand” type of clamp to hold, and to solder the wires to the signal head and power supply. My soldering tip for these is to tin your fine tipped iron and touch it to each of the holes/pads on the bottom of the board for the signal wires. This will almost always deposit a tiny solder glob that closes the hole. Don’t dismay, while looking through a magnifying glass place the signal wire on the top side of the board at the hole. Bring your iron back to that solder pad and just touch it for a second or so. The solder will melt and the wire can push through instantly. Remove the heat, and the solder will solidify in less than three seconds.
