The 1959 Plymouth Belvedere, named after the beautiful lake in California, was a full-size car that was offered in a variety of body styles, including a four-door sedan, two-door hardtop, convertible, and station wagon. The Belvedere was positioned as a mid-level car in Plymouth's lineup, between the less expensive Savoy and the more luxurious Fury.
