Overview

Now well established in the Oxford 1:87 scale American series, the 1965 Chevrolet Stepside Pickup appears again in a quieter colour scheme than previously but still very appealing with a dark green body and cream masked cab upper section. The interior seating is also cream. Contrasting exterior chrome work is finished in silver including the radiator grille which is etched black and features the Chevrolet name above, also printed black. Our model hails from Illinois - Land of Lincoln, registered 57 018. In its day, it proved a light, reasonably priced utility truck and being almost like a car, it proved very popular with private owners as well as commercial business.
