Rapido brings the 41'-6" drop-bottom gondola to HO scale in a Soo Line scheme, finished in boxcar red with bold white block lettering. Rapido developed the model from original blueprints and field measurements.

Pressed Steel Car Company built five hundred cars of this pattern, and additional groups followed with only minor underframe changes. Over long service lives many were assigned to pulpwood loading and others received extended sides for woodchip and beet service; the last examples were retired in 1982.
