Description
Rapido Trains' all-new HO scale EMD FT arrives as New York, Ontario & Western A+B set number 601A and 601B in the road's gray, orange and yellow scheme. This is the DC/Silent release: both units are powered, run on conventional DC, and are DCC-ready.
- Both units powered; die-cast chassis, five-pole motor with dual flywheels
- MoPower capacitor system
- Close-coupling system keeps the A and B units tight on straight track while negotiating model railroad curves
- Joined by drawbar or by couplers, mimicking the prototype
- Correct nose and windshield contours
- Multiple number board styles installed as appropriate
- Three styles of dynamic brake hatch and a steam generator hatch where appropriate
- Etched side and fan screens, full cab interior
- Complete underbody detail including the heavy draft gear
