Description
A 1:350 new-tool kit of USS Langley CV-1, the US Navy's very first aircraft carrier, converted from the collier USS Jupiter in 1920-22. The 165m ship builds into a model roughly 472mm long, featuring her distinctive full-length flight deck on open supports above the original hull. Langley carried up to 36 aircraft and served until she was lost to Japanese air attack in February 1942.
