This 1:72 scale Airfix Vintage Classics kit of the RAF Air-Sea Rescue Launch comprises 155 pieces with two scheme options. The famous Type Two 63ft HSL 'Whaleback' boats were dedicated to rescuing downed airmen at sea and carried defensive armament including two Armstrong Whitworth AW38 gun turrets.
These vessels could also support wider Royal Naval operations.
