Description
Lionel's O gauge three-bay hopper with peaked ends is decorated for CSX in black with yellow lettering. As the real early-CSX cars did, it carries the block CSX TRANSPORTATION logo on the side while keeping its inherited Chesapeake & Ohio reporting marks.
- Lettered C&O 108442 with CO 6-86 repaint date and 140,000 pound capacity data
- Molded plastic body with rivet, rib and ladder detail cast in for durability
- Die-cast trucks with operating couplers using Lionel's hidden tabs
- Added metal weight keeps the car tracking well even when running empty
- One-piece coal load inserts available separately
- Seven road numbers offered per scheme for building a long unit coal train
- 10-3/4" long; rated for O31 curves
Conversion to scale couplers and two-rail wheelsets is straightforward with parts sold separately.
