Description
Olive drab, shark teeth and classic 1940s glamour: this HO scale 40-foot boxcar carries full P-40-style shark-mouth nose art across the sides, complete with USAAF star roundel and bold "U.S. ARMY" lettering. Photographer Michael Malak's pin-up of model Jessamyne Rose anchors each side, in leopard print on one and under an Army overcoat on the other, with the red door carrying the "Wings of Angels" script and Malak's credit. The olive-drab body and bare-metal aircraft graphics make it an easy standout in a military-themed or display consist. Ready to run with opening doors, metal wheels, metal knuckle couplers and factory weighting for reliable operation, it measures 6.4" long and negotiates curves down to an 18" radius. A Limited Edition release from Lionel's 2025 Volume 2 HO catalog.
