Share in Freedom was a genuine US Savings Bonds promotional livery applied to a small number of Northern Pacific cars, so this is a real prototype scheme rather than a fantasy one. Micro-Trains catalogues the pack as Burlington Northern ex-Northern Pacific because the cars survived into BN ownership after the 1970 merger of the Great Northern, Northern Pacific, CB&Q and SP&S - but both cars are still lettered NP, which is why the road name here reads Northern Pacific. Roofwalks were ordered removed from 1966, dating the modelled condition to the car's post-1970 life. No barcode is published for this item; shipping weight is our estimate.
