Description
Union Pacific GE C30-7 number 2422 appears here in UP's early Armour Yellow and grey scheme with red lettering, modelled in HO scale by Rapido Trains. This version is factory equipped with an ESU LokSound V5 decoder, so it runs with full sound on DCC and also operates on standard DC.

General Electric built the C30-7 as an improved U30C powered by a 16-cylinder 3,000 horsepower engine, turning out more than 1,100 units between September 1976 and May 1986 for heavy-haul freight work on the Class I railroads.
