Description
Union Pacific #2429 wears the Armour Yellow, harbor mist gray and red 'early' as-delivered scheme on Rapido's HO scale General Electric C30-7, GE's 3,000-horsepower, sixteen-cylinder answer to the SD40-2. This is the DC/DCC/Sound release, factory-fitted with an ESU LokSound V5 decoder.

More than 1,100 C30-7s were built between September 1976 and May 1986 and worked heavy-haul freight, especially Powder River coal, for railroads across the United States.
