About This Item
The unique Japanese Navy aircraft-carrying cruiser Mogami was built in compliance with the London Naval Treaty and completed in July 1935. Her 15.5cm cannons were later replaced with 20.3cm cannons, transforming her into a heavy cruiser. Following damage at Midway, a flight deck accommodating up to 11 floatplanes was fitted. This 1/350 scale assembly kit can be built as a waterline or full-hull display model.
